Lent 2026 Encounter Jesus: Retreat in Daily Life

The Encounter Jesus: Lent Retreat in Daily Life is an on campus retreat in daily life for those looking to encounter Jesus and develop a more personal relationship with Him this Lent (February 18th - April 5th).

Participants will watch a select episode of The Chosen each week. Prayer materials and reflection questions coinciding with themes from the episodes will be provided for you to pray with and to help you relate to Jesus in your life.  There are no formal gatherings for this retreat.  It is a self-guided retreat that can be adapted to the amount of time you have for prayer and refelction throughout Lent.

Participants will be given a retreat reflection guide and journal to help you reflect and pray each day.  Participants will also have the option of meeting with a Spiritual Companion/Director (a member of the Mission and Ministry Staff, a Jesuit or other spiritual guide) to talk about how the reflection exercises are going, your relationship with Jesus and/or anything you want to talk about regarding your spiritualilty/faith life.

Materials for the retreat will be distributed on Ash Wednesday, February 18th throughout the day in the Campus Ministry Office and before and after the Ash Wednesday services.  There is no fee for this retreat.
