The Liva Arts Company is a non-profit, student-run organization designed to serve the academic, social, and cultural needs of the University of Scranton. Founded in 1990, the Liva Arts Company produces two musicals annually. The organization is named in honor of Anne Vanko Liva, an internationally renowned pianist who left her Scranton residence to the University of Scranton in order to cultivate an appreciation and interest in the performing arts. RAM membership gives University of Scranton students the opportunity to learn about communities that lack access to quality healthcare and barriers to health care, while also offering the opportunity to participate in RAM trips and other local volunteer opportunities. RAM trips are focused on providing free services to those who are unable to afford medical care themselves and for those who do not have access to hospitals or healthcare facilities in their area. Student participation will include helping to set up, organize, and run the clinic but will not involve hands-on work with patients. All hands-on work with patients will be done by qualified medical professionals, and the students will assist in other ways. Through this organization, members will have the opportunity to volunteer and travel to RAM clinics across the nation, focusing on the northeastern United States. This will be an especially valuable experience to aspiring healthcare professionals. ACTION! Cue you making movies, TV and videos at the University of Scranton. Royal Studios is the University of Scranton's student-run motion picture and television production company. Producers and crews work on projects from script to delivery of the final project. Productions range from scripted fiction to news and documentary and all work is regularly posted to YouTube and promoted via social media.

Royal Studios is open to all students and affords student filmmakers the opportunity to work on advanced projects beyond class assignments. These productions can be used to put together a professional reel when seeking work in any type of production when entering the job market.

Individual events in interpretation and public speaking are available for competition as well as debate. S/he runs bi-weekly meetings for the board and monitors the full budget for USPB. S/he also acts as the main contact for USPB for agencies and has the authority to request contracts. The Executive Chair is also the USPB representative to the University community.

The Vice Chair of Series Events is directly responsible for the Comedy, Coffeehouse and Movie Committee Co-Heads. S/he is responsible to be at all series events as well as any other assignments designated by the Chair. The Vice Chair of Series Events is also responsible to fulfill duties of the Chair if s/he is absent or unavailable for meetings or events.

The University of Scranton Amateur Radio Club is an organized group of enthusiastic students, professors, and members of the community with a common interest in participating in and advancing the amateur (ham) radio hobby. The Amateur Radio Service is officially recognized by the U.S. Federal Government as having the fundamental purpose of providing volunteer public service and emergency communications, advancing the state-of-the-art of radio technologies, expanding the pool of trained radio operators, radio technicians, and electronics experts, and enhancing international goodwill.
The success of The University of Scranton Amateur Radio Club aims to increase the number of involved members by spreading the word of the club on campus and around the community. The goals of this group include increasing the number of licensed ham radio operators, general knowledge of the functionality of ham radios, and how these radios can be used. These goals are achieved through regular club meetings, special club activities, and the establishment and operation of an on-campus amateur radio station.

99.5 WUSR Scranton is a student-run, non-commercial radio station owned by the University of Scranton, which broadcasts over 700 square miles of Northeastern Pennsylvania. WUSR operates on a volunteer basis. No prior experience necessary. Our mission is to provide student-driven, alternative radio programming unlike what is currently offered in the Northeastern Pennsylvania area. WUSR strives to operate at a professional level while promoting a learning environment with peer-to-peer instruction supervised by university staff and faculty. Our goal is to create a positive environment for students to learn, gain professional experience, serve their community, and enjoy their time with the station.
